Zum Senn in Oberjoch

The hotel is cozy and personal. Together with the “Jagdhof” and “Haus Schönblick” holiday apartments, it is the right choice, because at the Alten Senn there is usually hardly a wish left unfulfilled. Outstanding!

We stayed at the Hotel zum alten Senn for a week. We had booked half board. Breakfast and dinner were of excellent quality. It can only be recommended. The rooms are functional. The bathroom is a little small. The staff is always in a good mood and friendly. Everyone strives to make your stay unforgettable. We will be vacationing there again!

The hotel is very centrally located for hiking, with the guest card the public buses are free. The food, the service and the staff can only be recommended.

Once and never again! We went to the herdsman for dinner today. When ordering, we asked if it was possible to get gluten-free bread. Answer of the waitress yes takes 15 minutes. We had the 3 course menu that was recommended to us. We didn't get the soup, on request when the main course was served it said "will be soon" then we should wait for the gluten-free bread until all guests had their meal. We were done with the main course. The waitress only said "she has to serve so many" We didn't want any more desserts. Everything was mixed up at the next table too. Here her daughter got the vegetables for the fondue thrown in the neck ... Conclusion: the service is worse than miserable, the waitress doesn't listen, is totally overwhelmed and out of place in the service. The food was OK but not worth the price in my opinion. Also the lady (I assume the boss) left the dining room quickly when we and 2 other tables wanted to complain about the service. I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant, because something can always happen, but the question is how do you as the owner deal with it.

Perfect vacation at an unusual and difficult time, we felt very comfortable for 12 days, super nice staff throughout the hotel, a clean room with a great balcony and an even better view of the Iseler. The breakfast was great, the different dinners each a stunner. Can only be recommended.

Today we went to eat pork crust roast at the Senn: crust roast without crust, side dishes cold, service not nearly by the tray without passion, self-service would be better here, too bad

The hotel itself is nicely done ... Room very clean - 👍🏻 I didn't find the breakfast great ... you fill out a list and only get a fraction of it. I also found the dinner inadequate for the price ... the white lacquer wasn't really turned on ... the grill plate was sometimes cold to lukewarm

Friendly nice hotel. Rooms are renovated, but only functional. Balcony only on one side.

It was a wonderful week and we can only recommend the family friendly one. It was a great time for us with super nice staff, very good food and in a good location. We will surely come back.

So either I was having fun today or I don't understand anything anymore! Eating a disaster instead of dumplings ... served fried potatoes ... overwhelmed everyone ... roast pork turned out to be a greasy crust ... 😕 too bad

Great place for family and amazing to ski

We had our Christmas party here. It was really great. The buffet was set up with so much love and it tasted delicious. Thanks a lot for this.

We spent a great long weekend here and felt very comfortable. The staff is always on hand and very helpful. We have experienced so seldom. The room was clean with a nice view of the mountains. Breakfast and dinner top and in a cozy atmosphere. Recommended.

Great place

The staff is very friendly, and the room has a nice view on the mountainside. Also the beds are of good quality. The only downside is the Wifi connection and the fact that the shower doesn't have a lot of warm water.

Very family oriented, we always spend our ski vacation there
